Amanda Coop

Attorney

Amanda is a native to Goodlettsville, Tennessee. After finishing law school she moved to the Atlanta area where she litigated personal injury and property damage claims for seven years. She began her legal career working as a defense attorney for a major U.S. insurance company handling hundreds of injury claims in the State of Georgia.  While working in the insurance defense industry she tried both bench and jury cases regularly both as first and second chair.  She has handled complex litigation including death and dismemberment with millions of dollars at stake.  She also handled smaller litigation, which, can present its own unique set of challenges.

In her law school days, Amanda found she had an affinity for contract law as well as trial and appellate procedure. Insurance defense presented a unique opportunity for her to litigate and traverse the minefields of the insurance contract.

Now, Amanda uses her wealth of experience to create simple or comprehensive Estate Plans; review, draft and negotiate contracts; and always to advocate for the rights of people who have been injured in the State of Tennessee.  Amanda is a zealous advocate for her clients and, unlike many attorneys, is not afraid to take cases to trial to get the best outcome if necessary when negotiation or mediation attempts fail.

Amanda believes in not just communicating with her clients about the details of the case, but providing them with the knowledge and understanding to tackle the issues and impacts that arise out of estate planning, contractual issues, and lawsuits.
